Prayers for Mark Ammann

Mark writes:

I miss all of you. Please join me in prayers for:
1. God to re-unite our family soon with no negative impact on our jobs, income, or health.
2. Provision for care for my mom, who either needs a nursing home or home health services at her apartment.
3. Strength for my wonderful and amazing wife, Lori, who is dealing with all of the medical "stuff" surrounding my mom and acting as a single parent in my absence.
4. For God to make clear His purpose for me here as I seek service opportunities (possibly in tech booth of West Seattle Bapt. Church).

Matt Glenn's Upcoming Visit

Matthew Glenn will be coming home in late November for much needed vacation and to take a an entrance exam for law school. Please pray for a safe journey, excellent preparation for his test, and for wisdom as he makes decisions. You can send him encouragement through comments.

Brent's uncle Robert

From Brent's cousin, Lori:
He went to the ER yesterday afternoon with the same symptoms he had 2 yrs ago when they found a brain tumor. They did a CT scan yesterday and all they found was some scar tissue from his surgery. His Dr. is sending him for a stress test sometime this week, just waiting for them to schedule that. He didn't sound good when I talked to him, I could tell he's not feeling well.

Brent will forward your prayers to his uncle, who pastors a church in Appomattox, Va.

Gloria Cooley's brother Thomas

If you were in the gathering two Sundays ago, you'll remember we prayed for Thomas who had an unsuccessful surgery to insert a fistula (for dialysis treatments).

He just had another unsuccessful attempt and they will try again tomorrow (Wed, 10/29/08). Please pray for Thomas and Gloria's family now.
