Update on Claire McCoy

Claire was taken to the ER last night. She has pneumonia in one lung and has been running a high fever. Claire and Kari are at Children's downtown. Kari has not slept and she is exhausted. As of 9am this morning, she still did not have a room...that alone is stressful. Pray for rest for Aaron and Kari, and a quick recovery for Claire.

Herman Isaacs

Herman Isaacs is having Knee Reconstruction surgery tomorrow (1/29) at Presby Dallas. They are going to have to take the old knee out and put a new knee in. He will be in the hospital for several days. Be praying for safety during the surgery and for a quick recovery for Mr. Isaacs.

Claire McCoy

Please be praying for Claire McCoy. She had a temperature of 105 today. She has never had a fever this high before and even low grade fevers cause her to seize. Please pray for Kari and Aaron as they head into the night. Please pray that Claire's fever would go down and for healing for her body. She did respond to fever reducer but it will probably be a long night. Their pulmonologist said to take her to the hospital if they couldn't keep the fever down. Thank you for your prayers.

Friend of Jessica and Joshua Grammon

Joshua and I have a friend at Portico that is in need of much help. We met him in October when he was released from prison. His name is Kevin and he is a 45 years old and he was instantly part of our family. He is staying with a family here in West Monroe, LA. Kevin was on track for the last couple of months working 2 jobs and making strides to get a place by himself, but the last few weeks he has disappeared for days at a time and now it is nearing a week. We all have reason to believe that it has to do with drug addiction, sex addiction, and alcohol addiction.

The family got a lead on him this morning, but he is at work. We are going to do what we can today to see if we can locate him. He needs rehabilitation. I did the social work thing for a while and so I have a good starting point, but it has never been this close to my heart before. I would appreciate it if you would pray. Pray for Kevin...he doesn't think he can come home, but we will take him back. Pray for the strength and rest of the family trying to help him. Pray that we don't make rash decisions. This is an urgent need.
