Jared was taken to a small hospital, but has since been moved to a larger hospital with better facilities. Jared's lungs are believed to be clear of fluids and he has been taken off all tubes and is asking to eat.
They are scheduled to leave on Saturday. Please pray as they make their journey home for safety and health. Please pray for Randy as he is a single parent due to the passing of his wife from cancer about 2 years ago. Pray that God would be honored in their efforts to serve His people in another place.

Just got an update on Jared Knowles. There is still significant fluid in one lung and an MRI shows some swelling of brain tissue. The doctors say all will probably resolve, but do not want to release him from the hospital yet. The rest of the group from Park Cities is coming back today (Saturday), but Randy and Jared (and possibly Kelsey) will be staying until Jared is released. Pray for them as they make all these changes in their arrangements and decide whether Kelsey should stay there or come home with the group. I know she is scared to death.
