Please pray for the Dunn family as they proceed on this journey together. This is the note Monte sent:
Last Thursday afternoon we had to take my my father to the hospital where he had a pacemaker implanted when it was found that only about 1/3 of his heart was operating properly. While he was recovering from this surgery it was discovered that he has cancer in his lungs and liver. Additionally, he is suffering from what appears to be early dementia causing him to hallucinate and be unaware of his surroundings. While we are all comforted by the knowledge that he knows Jesus as his personal savior; it is a difficult time for my family. We know that through it all God will be glorified.
Additionally, my mother is experiencing serious pain in her hip and leg and we suspect that she will need a hip replacement soon but she wants to wait until after we find out more information regarding the prognosis for my father. I will be meeting with a Christian hospice care facilitator Tuesday morning.
Pray for guidance and wisdom for the decisions we make and for my mother who will have a difficult time with taking his care out of her hands. Please lift up this precious couple who needs God's grace and mercy at this time.

Dearest Dunn Family,
I have been in prayer since I received this. I know all too well how difficult this can be. Please hold fast to God's Word and you will find peace. What a wonderful blessing you've been given to care for your precious Mother, Father, Grandmother and Grandfather. You too will be given the strength to persevere and love like Christ. You will be blessed richly and God has your family in His Glorious Hands. I pray that you boldly approach the Throne and find grace and mercy there. Hebrews 4:16
I love you dearly,

Hey guys!
You are covered from top to bottom. May God pour out his richest blessing on you and anoint your head with mercy and grace. May your feet be like the deer David talks about in Psalm 18 - firmly planted on the rocks of life - trusting him thru every cautious step.
We love you!
Brent
Daniel and I are lifting you up during this difficult time. Continue to keep your eyes on the Son! May God continue to pour out His grace, comfort, strength and mercy on your family in each passing hour.
Love,
Gloria
May you find a way to experience the peace of Christ in the midst of this chaos- a peace that passes all understanding, a peace that doesn't make any sense in light of the situation at hand, but a peace that makes all the sense in the world in light of the goodness of our Father in heaven. I'm praying that you will be able to honor, serve, and love them well during these trying times.
love,
