Susan is in surgery now having her gallbladder removed. Pray for her, John, and Maddie. All will need God's grace and hope through recovery.
side note: The surgeon, Dr. Cione prayed with them before the surgery and gave Susan and John a great deal of confident joy, knowing God's mighty healing hand was already at work.

Susan came through surgery brilliantly. She is recovering in room 503 of Tower A at Plano Presby. She should go home tomorrow. John and Maddie are staying with her tonight at the hospital. It is a sweet scene. She is in great spirits, has already been up walking around, and got broth and sorbet for dinner. She is in good hands.

Susan had yet another surgery yesterday. And she is now home recovering. Sweet Marsha Dunn took her and brought her home.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your prayers. A HUGE thank you to Marsha for taking me to the sugery center and staying with me after bringing me home. It is great to have such a wonderful group of people that make up "our" church. A special thank you to the wonderful ladies (and Monte) for the dinners that were delivered to us so that Maddie could continue to go to school and not have to stay home and cook. Just kidding!!!!!!!!
I am still in a lot of pain, but my sense of humor is slowly returning and with God's help the pain gets a little better everyday. Thank you for your past and future prayers. I love you guys.
